All aboard! Downtown Providence’s Track 15 Food Hall is arriving in a couple of months.
NBC 10 News showed you some of what to expect earlier this fall, but there have been additions since then.
Marsella Development President Chris Marsella showed NBC 10 the transformation of the old Providence train station on Tuesday.
The Union Station’s Track 15 Food Hall is bringing a new look, inside and out.
“The history of the space really never was connected as one, so this is the first time since the building was built in 1898,” said Marsella. “That this, the entirety of the lower level of what’s known as the central terminal building at Union Station has become one space.”
Marsella said while the old train station is getting a new look, it still respects the history that the walls possess.
“Everything you see here minus the kitchens and the floor is original,” said Marsella.
